Bondh E Shams – The Solar Water Project is a clean water and tech non-profit committed to tackling the global water crisis which impacts 1.2 billion and upholds that safe access to clean water is a basic human right, which should be available to all. Using it’s patent pending solar water technology, an-all-in-one solar powered water filtration and storage unit, the ‘OASIS Box’, Bondh E Shams has provided approximately 90 million cups of clean water to water-starved/water scarce communities in Pakistan, Yemen, South Sudan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Bondh E Shams is committed to bridging the sustainability gap as key player in the WASH sector and in the environments where we operate, by upholding a firm commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals: 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation); 5 (Gender Equality); 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and 13 (Climate Action), as we strive to make a difference in the life of those most-in need and create lasting impact in the world.
