About Rida Shahid
I am student at George Brown College and currently studying Child and Youth Care which is children with mental Health, I've taken multiple courses for tafsir at Alhuda Institute which has lead to be the head Teaching Assistant for Living Quran. I am an active community member taking upon volunteer opportunities especially since being part of the Alhuda Council over the last few years, I've helped with multiple programs that are catered to youth, helped out with Deenagers, volunteers with different masajids and organizations.. My passion includes public speaking, speaking, writing poetry, spoken word, reflection writing, being with children, and building connections with different organizations to build connections and community so I can fulfil my purpose.
